I have this on my phone and when I want to stop I imagine he is saying Bitch you better run!!
So, I have been super busy...working and fangirling and I haven't posted in a while. Yesterday I asked for requests, overnights have fried my brain a bit. And I got some but as I laid in bed scrolling through my Twitter feed, it hit me.
So, here it goes my tribute to King Matt.
Some back story shall we, I am a lover of SciFi, that is true but I also love scary movies. When I say scary I mean the ones that startle you..
Not the gore for the sake of gore. Now I have no idea how Matt and I found each other on Twitter, suddenly there he was on my feed and I have been hooked ever since, I had not watched his movies, I had no idea who he was. But since I have watched Iowa, Gacy , Descendent and The Orphan Killer(TOK). And I loved them.
Here is the question I asked myself last night WHY....why did I watch these movies
And it is then that I discovered Matt's true genius. A few months ago I wrote a post about how in this age of social media and internet that fans have such unprecedented access to stars that it causes these seemingly unnatural attachments that can at times be troublesome for the artist. So now wait for it....
He found me and he fed my dark desires. He lured me in with his eyes
Day after day he gave me images and attention....until one day I had to have more ...I was hooked
So there it is his genius, one of his many talents...He uses social media like a God...reaching the masses, bending us to his will. Matt's on a mission to bring great horror not the watered down garbage coming out of studios...The last 3 "horror" films I went to see in theaters were not scary at all in fact I laughed through 2 of them. And I say use whatever means you have to get what you want..you shake what your mama gave ya!
Matt looked at social media and saw an opportunity...
He is a master, connoisseur, maestro and fiend. And I for one love him for it. Let me be clear while he may have made me an addict he has also taken the time to truly care for his "followers" the devotees that love his attention.
I realize this may sound a bit cultish but believe me it is all in good fun, he spoils us and indulges us our cravings.
I have a thing for scars on lips...I mentioned it one day after seeing his...this soon followed ...he didn't say it was for me but in my twisted little mind it is
No one is getting hurt and I think a few have even discovered a part of themselves that longed to be free.
So I say Slay me in the cruelest way my Dark King!!
Update:
You can now add Viking god to Matt's resume. Don't believe me check out his Instagram and Facebook. He still has a way of showing us minions attention. He might have mastered the skill even more. I for one can wait to see what the future hold s for him.
